Observation

WAC 110-300-0165(2)(a): At the time of the site visit there were screws (choking hazard) in a drawer in the kitchen area that faces the walkway to and from building 1 and 2 and the playground making it accessible to the children. This was moved at the time of the site visit by the director. WAC 110-300-0165(2)(c): At the time of the site visit there was a drawer with two cords that form a loop in the kitchen area that faces the walkway to and from building 1 and 2 and the playground making it accessible to the children. This was moved at the time of the site visit by the director. WAC 110-300-0165(2)(d): At the time of the site visit there were plastic bags accessible in a kitchen cabinet and the kitchen is open in an area where kids go through making it accessible. There was a roll of plastic garbage bags sitting on the bathroom sink in the building two bathroom that is shared between two classrooms making them accessible to the children. WAC 110-300-0165(3)(a): At the time of the site visit there were screw drivers with a pointed end and screws with a pointed end in the kitchen area that faces the walkway to and from the building 1 and 2 and the playground making it accessible to the children. There were butcher knives in a drawer located in the kitchen that is in an open space accessible to the children. WAC 110-300-0165(3)(g): The toddler room and the preschool room have some flaking paint/sheet rock on the wall. WAC 110-300-0165(5)(a): The preschool (Lions room) has an outlet that is not tamper resistant with automatic shutters that only allow electrical plugs to be inserted.
